If you live under a rock and didn’t hear about the VMA’s, during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech for an award she beat our Beyonce for, Kayne West stormed on stage, stole the microphone from Taylor’s hand and said “Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time” leaving Taylor completely mortified on stage. Thankfully, Kanye was removed from the award show and his performance was canceled.
Then, at the end of the show, Beyonce won Video of the Year for Single Ladies. When she came up on stage for her speech, she gave up her spotlight and let Taylor Swift come back out to give her acceptance speech for the award she won. Freaking kudos to Beyonce.
I respect her so much more now. That is the classy thing to do. I wonder how Kanye feels to know that pretty much everyone thinks he’s scum now. He’s always been so full of himself. Remember when he appologized for being such a douche to everyone? Yeah, I guess what didn’t mean a thing. I can’t stand him. Scum Kanye, you are scum.
Kudos to Beyonce for her kindness and props to Taylor Swift for handling it like a professional. I’m proud of the both of them. ( :
